Its melted caramel colour with amber reflections evokes balsamic, aniseed and high mountain herbal notes. When shaken, aromas of spices such as vanilla and cloves, acquired during the ageing in wood, are released. Background of caramel and raisined fruits. On the palate there is a warm and enveloping entry, giving way to a refreshing palate with an elegant bitterness that blends with a smooth and velvety sensation. At aperitif time it is recommended to serve it ‘on the rocks’: first add two ice cubes and a small piece of orange peel to the empty glass. Then, when the glass gets fogged up as it cools, we serve the vermouth at natural temperature. And don’t forget the chic touch of the olive. In order not to mask aromas it is preferable not to add lemon peel and not to serve the vermouth cold from the fridge.
