Its secret is that it uses fruit brandies produced by the family-owned Schladerer distillery in the Black Forest. Wood plays an essential role in the flavor of this vermouth, the infusion of native herbs gives Belsazar its unique and natural character. Selected Pinot Noir grapes from the Black Forest form the basis of Belsazar. On the nose, the aroma of summer fruits, camomile and a touch of fresh yeast take centre stage.
We find that the aroma is mainly ripe wine. We remember some champagne or aged cava, but the aroma is outlined with a spicy and herbal aroma. When it passes through the mouth, we also see the change. It has a silky and aromatic mouth that dries slowly, slightly acidic and bitter.
The consumption of vermouth and aperitifs is increasing worldwide. The brand of vermouth Belsazar has its origin in one of the cradles of this drink: Germany. Its liquid proposal seems very interesting and distinguishes it from other vermouths on the market. Under this brand, we find a young German entrepreneurial company that introduced a new way of understanding vermouth a few years ago. There are four references in the Belsazar vermouth that we find in the market: dry, white, pink and red.
