Vermouth 9 diDANTE is a creation of Alex Ouziel, together with Mario Baralis, renowned winemaker. After 30 years of discovering the Art of Vermouth, as faithful guardian of the secrets of the historic Carpano house, Mario has retired to the hills of Piedmont for the last 20 years. He never imagined recreating a new formula for the original vermouth, until by chance he and Alex crossed paths and began discussing how traditional Piedmontese craftsmanship could inspire the taste of a new generation of vermouths. On tasting, we find a suitably spicy touch, with a hint of clove and cumin between the orange peel and the richness of the soft oak red wine.
