Since 1946 the Mascaró family has been concerned with controlling the quality of its products throughout the entire production process, from the vineyard to the bottle. The grapes used to make this wine come from the Mas Miquel estate in Aiguamúrcia (Tarragona), formerly owned by the monks who lived in the Cistercian Monastery of Santes Creus (Tarragona).

The grapes are harvested entirely by hand and the grapes are transported to the winery in small boxes to protect the quality of the grapes as much as possible. The grapes are pressed whole, using only the free-run juice for winemaking. The must obtained is fermented at a controlled temperature to preserve all the powerful aroma of this elegant variety. Light cherry colour, fleshy in the mouth with hints of citrus fruits.
